Welcome to The Farthest Land.
The Farthest Land is a fantasy RPG that is friendly to RPers of all talents- from beginners to the experienced writer. The setup is much like that of any other Proboards roleplay, with a few small elements common to roleplays for game consoles. Quests and plots play a big part here. Please be made aware that this site is open only to those above 13 years of age, as there is some violence and cursing. There will be quite a bit of freedom given to users on the in-character forums, but know that no threads will have excessive cursing. All users will be given the chance to dive into a magical world of all their own in a safe and friendly environment.

Obsidian Caves High on the face of the Tortoiseback Mountain Range's tallest peak, a dark cave faces skyward. A wide overhang sprouts from just below the cave, blocking any glance one might take into the blackness. Only flying beasts can reach these caves, which extend for miles into the mountains. The people of Turnac believe that ancient dragons dwell in this underground maze, and make monthly sacrifices in the hope that the dragons will protect the village.

Turnac This tiny village, nestled against the base of the range's tallest mountain, is home to the race which once ruled Akwutaine- the Canigens. No lowlander has ever cast eyes on this settlement. This settlement is hidden from the rest of the world by the dark mountains that surround it.

Trillium Lake Clear, clean water rests in a massive basin, shining in the sun. It is said that a great obsidian tortoise makes its home somewhere deep beneath the waves, and that any lucky person to encounter it will have one wish granted, no matter how ridiculous.

Wolven Dens This thriving deciduous forest, cradled against the valley's western edge, is home to many a beast. It is dubbed in timid honor of the massive wolf-like beasts that lurk beneath the shadows of the leaves.

Tung Shao Pass This small pass, which is truly just a stretch of empty land seperating the forest and FeralBlitz City, is named for the conquorer from the East who won the country of Akwutaine from the Canigens.

FeralBlitz City The bustling port city is named for the feral race that once made its capital here. FeralBlitz City is the wealthiest city in the entire country of Akwutaine. It sees many unusual folk from the outside world.

Caiman Marsh The Caiman Marsh, which lies to the southwest of the valley, is full of predators. It reeks of decay and muck.

Constancia; The Capital City
Upper Ring This is where the wealthiest of Constancians dwell. The place is entirely enclosed by a two-foot thick wall, with guards posted 24/7 at every gate.

Middle Ring This is where most of the people of Constancia live. Most of the merchants and artisans work and live here, and this is also where most shops can be found. The ruins of an old city can be found here, as well as the famous Akwutaine Colosseum.
Lower Ring You guessed it- this is where the lower class people of Constancia make their homes. This is the only place in which free humans are allowed to build their lives, and is mostly dodgy streets, farmland, and slums. There is, however, a lovely river-side market here. (As well as another market of the less-than-savory sort)

Southern PheonixFeather Archipelago
Puna Island Puna Island, is in fact, not a true island at all. Puna Island is a phenomenon of life- an island constructed entirely of coral. At low tide the top of the massive coral field is revealed to the sun, while at high tide the skeletal island is consumed by the sea. Many beautiful organisms make their home here- from massive sharks to tiny jewel-scaled fish.

Pua Mae ʻOle Pua Mae 'Ole is the largest island in the archipelago, and the only one with its own permanent settlement. One could walk the entire island's perimeter in two days.
Niho Palaoa Island The second largest island in the small archipelago, Niho Palaoa is a tropical paradise. There are no permanent settlements here, but the wealthy inhabitants of the mainland all have fancy summer homes here.

Western TigerClaw Plateau
Jerboa Field Jerboa Field takes up the majority of the Plateau. Many animals make their home here, as well as a few Sun Nomads. Some people say that there is a passage somewhere in this massive field that leads to the home of an ancient monster.
Kirazli Drop-off The easternmost edge of the plateau ends in a perfect vertical drop, towering two hundred feet above the earth below. Watch your step!

Datamari River Datamari River is not in fact a part of the plateau. It snakes along the foot of the the platuea, widening as it nears the sea. Shortly after passing Constancia, the river turns into a massive delta before feeding into the ocean.
